Live Life Better by Eating Healthy!!

So, at the beginning of the year...many people commit to want to lose weight. I wonder how many people are still committed!?!? :-) 

Losing weight and eating healthy - should be a lifestyle change - not a beginning of the year thing. You can change your life any day you WAKE UP & realize you need to be doing better in whatever it is....

One thing, I will say that when trying to lose weight. You have to figure out what works for you and your body. I do not recommend anyone taking weight loss pills. Many of those things, if not all are not good for you. The best way to lose weight is to EAT better. Increase your diet with FRESH fruits & vegetables [try not to do canned stuff - buy natural frozen if you would like (last longer)]. STOP eating processed foods (ready made meals) & eating out! I know it seems easier but those meals have LOADS of crap you don't need! Drink lots of water. Drink natural juices! Decrease your consumption of soda and other bad drinks. Eat lean meat (fresh, organic ones that are not pumped with all those hormones, etc.) - I typically eat chicken, turkey and seafood!  Bake your meats, if you must fry them only do once a week. Limit grease intake! READ INGREDIENTS when purchasing food and do research and learn what those ingredients are - so you know what your eating/drinking and the effects they will have on your body!

Learn about the different vitamins available and take the ones that are beneficial to you. Try to exercise at least 30 mins a day and I bet you will see some results! 

Remember, weight that comes off naturally tends to stay off - you must continue to eat HEALTHY it cannot be temporary just to lose weight...it has to be a lifestyle change. That's the only way to ensure the weight doesn't come back!! When you eat HEALTHIER you will notice, your overall HEALTH will also improve! I know mines has....since I started eating better!

I'm not an expert in this field...but from what I have seen. Those that change what they eat, how they prepare their meals, etc. Have had GREAT success in this department! Try it and see what happens!! Also, don't leave your kids out - change their meals as well (be kid friendly) and make sure they get some type of exercise (playing outside, playing a dancing video game, sports, skating, swimming, etc) on a daily basis.

I'd rather pay extra for better food than to be spending thousands on medicines and medical expenses! We gotta learn to CURE ourselves! Being FAT and Unhealthy is only genetic if you let it be! Be the generation that BREAK that mold! Live better, EAT better & get FIT!  Get rid of diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol in your family! BREAK THAT TRAIT, in your family with YOU!

I'm still working myself but from my most recent physical, last month. I am in pretty good shape. I just have a low Vitamin D deficiency and my thyroids are out of whack BUT no high blood pressure, no high cholesterol, NO diabetes, etc. It's a Lifestyle change!!!!
