Be Careful - Business Partners

Speaking from my own learning experiences, in working with others - over the years.

When going into business, you want to be very mindful of who you go into business with. If you are going to have a partner. You need to know about your partner and their intentions, before you go into business together. You need to know what they believe. About their past to some degree, b/c say they have been arrested and had issues with money in the past - you may not want them to handle that part of the business.  It doesn't disqualify them but it makes you aware of their weakness. So, you have someone else handle that area that they have a weakness.

Need to know. If they have other ventures, about their family b/c that will determine - how much time they will have to invest into the business. How serious they are about this type of commitment. Are they willing to invest financially? If so, how much are they willing to risk? How much are they expecting to receive in profits, etc? They have to know their position in the company. What they are expected to do. You both need to be on the same page, on how business will be conducted AND each person's responsibilities. You both need to stay in constant communication with one another. Have meetings regularly, to go over productivity, etc.

It's just like having a relationship. In all relationships, for it to be effective, you must stay in constant communication with that person. So, you both know what's going on at all times. No one is left out in the cold!

So, be sure to do a through check on potential person AND be mindful of who you let in on your team. You may not know EVERYTHING; about someone but if you are a Believer and you pray and seek God. He will show you and bring the RIGHT people to you!

For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness?
Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"
