Fashion Career or Preach the Gospel?

So, I've been questioning my Fashion work or lack thereof...wondering the direction it should go. Since, I really haven't invested a lot of time into it lately.

My main focus these days have been to study the word of God, Share Jesus and Encourage others.

The other day the Lord said: Fashion is what you do to earn an income it's not to be your main focus; your main focus is to Preach the Gospel.

So, well that answers that question....and after the Lord has spoken there is really nothing left to say but Amen and Obey.

And if you know anything about Fashion it requires a lot of work and time to make it a career. You have to attend Fashion shows, network, do a lot of research and planning. Like any career, it's a lot of work. Which would consume majority of my time...and that wouldn't be good for the people who really need to hear the Gospel!

Plus, the desire I once had to make it a career. I don't have that desire anymore. I love it but the passion has turned to doing other things and those things are building up the Kingdom of God and doing all He ask of me to do.

So, I will stick to earning a living through it but not making it a career. The difference is I will make products and sell them but I will not spend all of my time in it. To the point, where that's all I do and all my time is invested into that alone and I'm not available to share the Gospel.

I will continue to create my Coasta Mi collections b/c well I didn't think of that myself. That was all God. I am working to put together a new website in the new year...hopefully by Spring. All items for sale will be available on it and through my Storenvy store. As my products, become available I will be sure to post  them on my Coasta Mi facebook page at www.facebook.com/CoastaMi. So, look for me to post over there in 2014 items for sale or to pre-order!

Also, as those who've been following from the beginning. You can see I don't even talk about Fashion hardly ever anymore. So, I changed the description of my blog to: Encouraging others along my Journey with Christ.

If God changes your heart, be willing to change your plans.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
